Neil J. Brafman
Neil Brafman has practiced law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Maryland since the 1980s. His experience comprises work in private firms, government service, and providing in-house counsel to private companies.

Mr. Brafman represents individuals and businesses in a variety of civil and criminal areas. These include personal injury, business and personal disputes, matrimonial and family law, and wills and estates. He has appeared on behalf of clients charged with criminal offenses from minor traffic citations to the most serious felonies. He has successfully tried cases before judges and juries.

Mr. Brafman is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Maryland. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College and his legal education at the Boston University School of Law.

Since moving to Rhode Island in 2007, when his wife joined the Brown University faculty, Mr. Brafman has enjoyed the state’s cultural, social, and recreational opportunities. He sings with the Providence Singers, actively participates at Temple Emanuel on the East Side, and avidly kayaks and bicycles.
